We collect very little. This page says what, why, and who else ends up seeing it.
Who we are
TrueWorks is a software studio in Zahle, Lebanon. We are not a registered company yet, so responsibility for anything collected here sits with us. You can reach us at trueworkslabs@gmail.com.
The enquiry form
The form asks for your name, your email, and some description of what you want built. Organisation and the dropdown are optional, so leave them alone if you would rather. There is also a hidden field that should stay empty. If something fills it in we take the submission for spam and it never reaches us.
We use what you send to write back to you. That is the whole of it. You will not end up on a mailing list, and we will not hand your details to anyone trying to sell you something.
Logs
Our host keeps ordinary access logs: IP address, browser, the page asked for, the time it was asked for. Every web server does this. They are there so the site can be kept up and so we can see when something is being hammered. We do not read them otherwise, and nothing in them is tied back to the form.
What the site does not do
No cookies are set. There is no analytics, no tracking pixel, no third-party script of any kind, and nothing is written to your browser storage. Even the typefaces are served from this domain instead of from Google, so no font provider learns your IP address either.
That is why nothing asked you to accept cookies when you arrived. There was nothing to accept.
Who else sees it
Three companies handle your data, because the site cannot work otherwise. Vercel hosts it and produces the access logs. FormSubmit takes the enquiry form and passes it on. Google receives the result, since our email is Gmail.
All three sit outside Lebanon and may store what they hold in the United States. Each has its own privacy terms. Nobody beyond those three gets your data, and we do not sell it.
Keeping it, and deleting it
Enquiries stay in our inbox as long as the conversation is worth having. We clear out anything older than about two years. If you want yours gone sooner, ask, and we will do it.
The access logs belong to the host and go on the host's schedule, which tends to be weeks rather than months.
Asking us about your data
Write to trueworkslabs@gmail.com. You can ask for a copy of whatever we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will come back to you inside a month.
If you are in the EU or the UK and think we have handled something badly, you can take it to your national data protection authority. For the record, our basis under GDPR is Article 6(1)(b) for the enquiry form, being steps taken at your request before a contract, and Article 6(1)(f) for the logs.
Under 16s
We build software for organisations. The site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
